In this role, you will be a member our rapidly growing Program & Project Management team. The PM team's standard is to manage each project like we own it. We are unique in that we provide in-house cost management and project scheduling along with program and project management, in a fully integrated package. We are currently looking for a Show Set Designer based in Osaka, Japan to work within our Themed Entertainment sector. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a variety of themed entertainment attraction projects.  This is an excellent chance to grow your project management experience within the themed entertainment sector. 


  • Develop and communicate creative concepts and aesthetic ideas for theme park attraction show sets, under the direction of the creative lead for the project
  • Work in collaboration with other team members in developing ideas
  • Provide concept direction for the design of models, sets, animation, show, ride and scenic elements through various visual tools that includes the use of art, illustration, architecture, drawings, paint, sketches, storyboards, 2D and 3D digital design and multimedia mediums
  • Take work from concept to development in production and field installation by working digitally in the computer on 3-D models, sketching and drawing in the traditional manner on paper, or through non-traditional applications
  • Work on projects of medium complexity or as a participant on a team of artists for a larger scope, from concept to completion
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate creative concepts using multiple mediums


  • Bachelor degree holder in Arts, Fine Arts or related disciplines
  • Theatrical design, interior design or environmental design background preferred
  • Training in arts, the theater, or entertainment preferred, with minimum 3-5 years experience in related environment required
  • Artistic visual skills, including drawing, painting, sketching, story-boarding, modeling, sculpting, and/or computer design
  • Strong understanding of digital creative mediums (i.e. Photoshop, Painter, Illustrator, 3D Studio Max, Maya, Z-Brush, Sketch Up, etc.)
  • Working understanding of CAD drafting programs
  • Knowledge of Revit is a plus
  • Able to interpret and communicate concept and idea from two and three dimensions
  • Solid aesthetic sense and be able to read technical drawings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-Motivated and a team player who can lead by example.
  • Experience with multi-level corporate management structure.
