In this role, you will be a member our rapidly growing Program & Project Management team. The PM team's standard is to 'manage each project like we own it'. We are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager who will be based on-site with a New York Healthcare client. This is a key role to consult to and grow a marquee client and an excellent opportunity to add to your project portfolio. 



As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible to assist the lead Project Manager with each of the following tasks:

  • Formulate the design, bid, and construction phase scheduling for the client
  • Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
  • Define and establish project scope of work and develop overall project budgets
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
  • Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
  • Lead the efforts of the project team regarding approvals from applicable agencies
  • Provide update/status reporting for work in progress including costs and schedules
  • Review Client’s overall Master Plan to ensure there are no project conflicts affecting sequencing of work
  • Devise bidding strategies including bid packaging and encouraging contractors to participate in the bid process
  • Conduct pre-bid and job start meetings
  • Manage the project in design, construction and occupancy phases
  • Administer the construction contracts
  • Approve pay requests of consultants and contractors
  • Conduct all job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes
  • Implement all applicable policies and procedures for the projects
  • Conduct close out activities and assist with building occupancy


  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture is highly preferred. A combination of education and work experience will also be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 2-5 years' experience in all aspects of Project Delivery, Managing, Planning, Design, and Construction processes.
  • Must be an excellent communicator with superior organizational skills and leadership qualities.

  • Familiarity with the FGI Guidelines and Joint Commission.
  • Prior experience with OSHPD preferred.
