    As a member of our corporate marketing team, the Proposal Coordinator helps ensure the production of high-quality proposals that directly contribute to our organization’s success. Under general supervision, the Proposal Coordinator is responsible for facilitating cross-team efforts to produce compelling proposals that are responsive to client and contract objectives, adhere to detailed requirements, and meet strict deadlines. This is a highly networked role that requires a professional attitude and strong work ethic – a good sense of humor helps too. This position reports to the Senior Proposal Manager and will be based in our Charleston office.

    • Expand your practical knowledge of the bid and proposal process
    • Sharpen your business skills in the areas of software, communication, and organization
    • Support the development of proposals from concept to completion
    • Gain experience working with senior-level staff and a team of highly motivated individuals
    • Work with team members firm-wide and between associated firms to develop required proposal information, including project descriptions, firm qualifications, resumes, technical write-ups, and forms
    • Support the production of high-quality physical and electronic proposal materials
    • Provide administrative support to the proposal team and perform other duties as assigned


    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Business, English, etc.)
    • 1-3 years of marketing, proposal development, or communications experience, preferably in the A/E/C industry
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

    • An exceptionally organized critical thinker possessing a high attention to detail
    • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills who’s able to work effectively with a wide range of professionals (e.g., executives, technical staff, subcontractors)
    • An excellent communicator with the ability to obtain, record, and disseminate fast-changing information across multiple teams
    • A dependable teammate who’s able to perform at high levels in a fast-paced work environment with a willingness to work varied hours; possibly on weekends or evenings
    • A quick learner with proficient knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is preferred
