    We are currently looking for a Project Manager specializing in healthcare to manage construction projects in the Seattle area. This opportunity is an on-site Owner's Representative position with a large regional healthcare provider. This role will require previous experience in acute or clinical healthcare construction projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Formulate the design, bid, and construction phase scheduling for the client
    • Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
    • Define and establish project scope of work and develop overall project budgets
    • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
    • Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
    • Lead the efforts of the project team regarding approvals from applicable agencies
    • Provide update/status reporting for work in progress including costs and schedules
    • Review Client’s overall Master Plan to ensure there are no project conflicts affecting sequencing of work
    • Devise bidding strategies including bid packaging and encouraging contractors to participate in the bid process
    • Conduct pre-bid and job start meetings
    • Manage the project in design, construction and occupancy phases
    • Administer the construction contracts
    • Approve pay requests of consultants and contractors
    • Conduct all job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes
    • Implement all applicable policies and procedures for the projects
    • Conduct close out activities and assist with building occupancy

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of healthcare project management experience, specifically in acute or clinical construction environments.
    • Bachelor's Degree in architecture, engineering or construction management is preferred.  A combination of education and work experience will also be considered in lieu of degree.
    • AIA, LEED, PMP, CCM or other related accreditations preferred.
    • Must be an excellent communicator with superior organizational skills and leadership qualities.
