    In this role, you will be a member of our rapidly growing Program & Project Management team. The PM team's standard is to 'manage each project like we own it'.     The Sustainability Project Manager position is responsible for providing strategic planning, project, environmental compliance, and construction management services for a variety of energy and sustainability clients and projects managed by Cumming. Our energy and sustainability client portfolio support a number of clients in a numerous industries including education, hospitality, transportation, healthcare, and commercial sectors.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Work with agency owners, developers, architects, engineers, and contractors to provide sustainability and environmental advice and assistance; attend clients meetings.
    • Assess existing client sustainability and environmental programs and identify areas of opportunity.
    • Serve as a technical resource to clients and provide advice on program direction.
    • Develop program recommendations, planning documents, and reports.
    • Implement and manage sustainability projects and programs.
    • Facilitate client strategic planning efforts and provide subject-matter expert input.
    • Support client environmental compliance efforts.
    • Develop annual report documents, communication pieces, and other internal and external communications related to sustainability programs and projects.
    • Develop tools, databases, and other tracking mechanisms to support sustainability program implementation and assessment.
    • Aid with the collection, review, status, and organization of project documentation, data, and deliverables.
    • The previous list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
    • Master’s Degree preferred
    • 3-5 years hands-on project, program, or construction management experience related to sustainability environmental compliance.
    • Experience in the climate, energy, water, solid waste, or utility industry.
    • Experience with Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventories and Mitigation Planning and familiarity with ISO 14064.
    • Facilities management background preferred.
    • Preferred experience managing projects for CA public agencies.
    • Preferred experience with strategic planning.
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    • LEED Accredited Professional(LEED AP)
    • Envision SP
    • WELL AP
