    In this role, you will be a member our rapidly growing Program & Project Management team. The PM team's standard is to 'manage each project like we own it'. We are unique in that we provide in-house cost management and project scheduling along with program and project management, in a fully integrated package.     We are currently looking for an experienced Document Control Manager to work on site with our client. If you share our drive for success and our commitment and passion for satisfying our clients, this is the position for you!


    • Manage, coordinate, and assist in establishing and maintaining a computerized document control system to manage and store all project-related information.
    • Utilize the latest version of project management softwares.
    • Provide for the control of all documents, records, reviews and writings.
    • Provide the capability to expedite the retrieval and transmittal of project-related construction documents.
    • Account for all letters, memos, submittals, shop drawings, proceed orders, change orders, invoices, Requests for information (RFIs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), suspended correspondence, and all other pertinent sources of information generated throughout the life of the project.
    • Tailor project documents and assist the Construction Manager(s) to meet the project requirements.
    • Apply knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in construction field.
    • Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
    • Demonstrates a high degree of creativity and latitude.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or similar field preferred.
    • Minimum 10 years' of document control experience in the construction field.
    • Must have a working understanding of Public Works Projects.
    • Evidence of satisfactory past performance, knowledge of codes, standards, and construction/engineering processes.
    • Must have a working understanding of scheduling, cost estimating, and cost control processes and methodologies.
    • Must have excellent written and communication skills and have a proactive management approach and the ability to work independently with little supervision.
    • Experience in the implementation and management of a tracking system for project-related issues.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Primavera Contract Manager (Expedition), and electronic file retention and distribution.
    • Proficiency in the use of Public Works' project filing system.
    • Experience as a construction project administrator/manager, and document control specialist for complex projects involving multiple project components with a project value of $50 million or greater.
