    The Director of Business Development works closely with operational leadership, technical personnel, marketing team members, and others to develop and implement strategic business development initiatives, identify and target clients and opportunities, and drive growth throughout the Seattle market and surrounding region.


    Specific responsibilities for this position include:


    • Support business development initiatives for the Seattle market.
    • Strategically identify opportunities with owners, developers, and architectural and engineering firms.
    • Secure meetings with high-level decision-makers.
    • Manage a territory with specific, targeted prospective clients.
    • Drive new revenue across all sectors throughout your territory.
    • Work with operational leadership to create an effective strategy that moves prospects through the sales process efficiently and effectively.


    • At least seven years of success within sales and business development.
    • Experience in the construction, real estate, architecture, or engineering industry.
    • You are a hunter who enjoys driving revenue and generating new business.
    • You are an accountable and results-oriented team player with a commitment to achieving goals.
    • Proven track record of performing consistently in the top tier of your sales force.
    • Executive-level selling experience.
    • Proven track record of opening new doors and establishing new partnerships.
    • You value a listening and consultative sales approach based on understanding and problem-solving.
    • Your sales strategies reject the old methods of over-talking, persuading, and convincing.
    • You are process-driven and highly organized.
    • You have an unabashed desire to work with A-level Players.
