    In this role, you will be a member our rapidly growing Program & Project Management team. The PM team's standard is to 'manage each project like we own it'. We are unique in that we provide in-house cost management and project scheduling along with program and project management, in a fully integrated package.     We are currently looking for a Construction Project Manager specializing in healthcare facilities to support a multi-year capital improvement program at a nationally recognized healthcare provider in the Albuquerque, NM area. This opportunity will be an on-site Owner's Representative position.

    Responsibilities

    • Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
    • Define and establish project scope of work and develop overall project budgets
    • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
    • Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
    • Lead the efforts of the project team regarding approvals from applicable agencies
    • Provide update/status reporting for work in progress including costs and schedules
    • Review Client’s overall Master Plan to ensure there are no project conflicts affecting sequencing of work
    • Devise bidding strategies including bid packaging and encouraging contractors to participate in the bid process
    • Administer the construction contracts
    • Approve pay requests of consultants and contractors
    • Conduct all job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes
    • Implement all applicable policies and procedures for the projects

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in architecture, engineering or construction management is preferred.  A combination of education and work experience will also be considered in lieu of degree.
    • 5-10 years' experience in all aspects of Project Delivery, Managing, Planning, Design, and Construction processes with a special emphasis on healthcare facilities.
    • Experience on large capital healthcare projects.
    • AIA, LEED, PMP, CCM or other related accreditations preferred.
    • Must be an excellent communicator with superior organizational skills and leadership qualities.
