    In this role, you will be a member our rapidly growing Program & Project Management team. The PM team's standard is to 'manage each project like we own it'. We are unique in that we provide in-house cost management and project scheduling along with program and project management, in a fully integrated package.     We are currently looking for a dedicated Construction Manager located in the Orlando, FL area. In this role, you will be involved in the oversight of Themed Entertainment and Attractions construction projects. This role does require prior experience working within the Themed Entertainment sector, and is an excellent opportunity to continue to expand your Themed Entertainment portfolio. The role is based on-site with our client.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinates timely and accurate responses to requests for information.
    • Responsible for the maintenance and distribution of current contract plans and specifications.
    • Confirms contractor’s maintenance of record drawings prior to monthly progress payments to the Contractor.
    • Coordinates with surveying, testing and inspection staff.
    • Assists in preparing written materials including correspondence, reports, procedures, and guidelines.
    • Maintain project files.
    • Reviews submittals for conformance to plans and specifications.
    • Coordinates meetings with stakeholders.
    • Review of submittal procedures and monthly invoices.
    • Performs other duties as directed.

    Qualifications

    • BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a closely related field is highly preferred; a combination of education and work experience will also be considered in lieu of degree.
    • Minimum 10 years' of experience within construction project management.  
    • Experience in themed entertainment/attractions projects is required.
    • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. 
    • The ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and staff across organizational lines.
    • Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines.
