    Cumming is currently looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in New York. We are looking for a talented professional who will work to add to our growing Project and Cost Consultancy team. Based in our New York office, you’ll work closely with our Talent Acquisition team on the West Coast as well as our hiring managers on the East Coast. The ideal candidate will be passionate about recruiting, enjoy collaborating with a TA team and senior-level hiring managers, as well as sourcing passive candidates in a competitive market. In this role, you will take the lead in driving our recruiting efforts for our Lehrer Cumming division in New York, as well as the East Coast market. 


    • Full life-cycle Recruiting – strategically source, screen, and submit top talent, both passive and active, to our Hiring Managers.
    • Adhere to our applicant flow process within our Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS).
    • Be a consultant, advocate, and support to our Hiring Managers on the East Coast, including New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, North & South Carolina and Florida.
    • Be strategically minded as the lead in the East Coast market. Bring ideas to the table and then execute on those ideas.
    • Provide an amazing Candidate Experience to all of our job applicants. This is important. We are past CandE winners and want to continue to strive to be best in class at creating a positive candidate experience.
    • Your focus will be on private and public business units by recruiting for our needs based in the New York market and East Coast.
    • Occasionally attend University and career events.

    The above are your main responsibilities, but we encourage our Talent Acquisition team to constantly bring new ideas and strategies to our team and help execute based on those ideas.


    • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years' of recruiting experience.
    • Experience as a Senior Recruiter or Recruiter in full life-cycle environment.
    • Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean searching.
    • Experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry is highly preferred.
    • Familiarity with iCIMS is preferred.
