    We are currently looking for a Program Scheduler to be located in the Los Angeles, CA area. This opportunity will have you working within our Education project construction sector. The Education team provides services to K-12 as well as higher education institutions nationally. You will be teaming with project, program, and client leadership to provide premier educational facilities for our nation’s youth and adults seeking to better themselves through learning.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain program schedules identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for various programs
    • Monitor and actively participate on project and program issues and Earned Value analysis
    • Perform needed QA/QC on program schedules to conform with program goals and various construction project types
    • Solicit accurate and timely schedule updates from project team while performing schedule impact analyses, and makes recommendations
    • Performs QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals for conformance with contract. Reviews critical path, cost loading, resource loading of man-hours, schedule content, recovery schedules, use of logic relationships and lags, constraints and milestones
    • Performs schedule Time Impact Analysis for any change orders that affect the construction schedule. Conducts schedule negotiations with the OAR and the contractor for any delay time settlements
    • Performs Critical Path analysis and Earned Value analysis
    • Creates and develops conceptual what-if schedules for large complex multi-year projects
    • Prepares ad-hoc reports as directed by management

    Qualifications

    • Graduated from a recognized college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
    • 8 years' full-time paid professional experience in Scheduling, preferably in public works projects
    • Proficiency in Primavera 15.1 or above and MS Office Suite
    • Knowledge of Public Works Agency requirements and how schedules are impacted by these requirements (agencies such as DSA, CEQA, etc.) is preferred
